May 24 - May 29, 2012 will be the 23nd annual Wakonse Conference for College Teachers, which was first held in May of 1990 at Camp Miniwanca on Lake Michigan.

The aim of the teacher conference is to bring good teachers together to learn from one another in a supportive environment where they can rekindle the spirit for teaching.

The 12th annual Wakonse Undergraduate Conference for College Students, first held in May 2000, will be held from May 23 - May 29, 2012 at the same location. The theme for the 2012 Wakonse Undergraduate Conference is "Leadership and Learning."
